Core Panel Product Update Policy
Use the documented release and update workflow, and verify the change on an isolated installation before relying on it for a workload.
Install and upgrade from the official release source
The supported installation and upgrade method uses the versionless HTTPS bootstrap at downloads.core-panel.net. It selects a release, verifies the selected installer and architecture archive, and starts installation. The initial HTTPS download remains a trust boundary.
System Settings exposes the configured release channel and installed and available versions, with a checksum-verified in-place update workflow. Do not interrupt an active upgrade.
Before and after an update
Read the release notes and compatibility or migration instructions. Record the installed version, preserve protected configuration, and verify independent backups and the required recovery keys. Rehearse the change in an isolated environment with representative data.
After updating, verify sign-in, websites, Python and other application runtimes, database access, DNS, email, scheduled work, monitoring, and recovery. Record failures and the version involved when requesting support.
Rollback and support boundaries
The documented update mechanism retains timestamped releases for manual rollback. Reverting program files alone may not reverse database or configuration changes. Follow release-specific instructions and verify data compatibility before returning to an earlier release.
The product remains pre-production. A fixed release cadence, long-term-support period, end-of-life schedule, or security-fix deadline is not published here. Confirm any version-support commitment with Core Panel before relying on it.
