Firewall

The administrator-only Firewall page manages ordered custom inbound rules through UFW on Debian-family systems and firewalld on RPM-family systems. Rules created outside Core Panel are preserved.

Each rule contains:

• A descriptive name.
• Allow or Deny action.
• Any, TCP, or UDP protocol.
• A source IP, CIDR network, or any .
• An optional start and end port for TCP/UDP.
• An enabled/disabled state.

Rules are evaluated in their displayed order. Move rules up or down, remove unused rules, and select Save and apply rules . The default policy remains accept; Core Panel applies only the ordered custom rules shown.

Be especially careful when changing SSH or panel-access rules. An incorrect deny rule can lock administrators out of the server.
